Update on the UCECP Director Search

On November 3, 2025, Union Church of Hinsdale formed a search committee to conduct a national search for a new UCECP director. The members of the committee include two educators, the Union Church Director of Christian Education, and the Union Church Bridge Pastor. 

In six weeks, the committee received and reviewed 146 applications with 32 being preschool qualified. The committee selected 5 director candidates that merited first interviews and have interviewed those candidates. A team of teachers and parents will conduct the second round of interviews. I expect a solid candidate will emerge from the second round of interviews and in January 2026 the committee will name a new UCECP Director.
